BIOGRAPHY
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, lives and works in Miami, FL. She holds a BA in Audiovisual Communications from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (1989), Film certificate from NYU School of Continuing Education (1991), and an MA in Digital Arts from Pompeu Fabra University (2001). Working across computational and generative media—including code, AI, and immersive technologies—she creates audiovisual works, prints, and interactive installations that explore speculative ecologies, interspecies imaginaries, and more-than-human futures.
Selected solo exhibitions include BioFictions (2025), Outerspace, Coral Gables, USA; Lusus Naturae (2023), Espacio Tranquilandia, Bogotá, Colombia; and The Map Is Not the Territory (2019), Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del Zulia (MACZUL), Maracaibo, Venezuela. Selected group exhibitions include IGNITE Broward (2026), MAD Arts Immersive Arts Museum, Dania Beach, USA; Proyecto Creadoras (2023), Galería de Arte Nacional, Caracas, Venezuela; and Surtropía – XXI Festival Internacional de la Imagen (2022), Universidad de Caldas, Manizales, Colombia.
A researcher in image theory and digital aesthetics, she has taught at Andrés Bello Catholic University and Prodiseño School in Caracas, Venezuela; Elisava School and the European Institute of Design in Barcelona, Spain; and Universidad de Los Andes and Validadero Artístico in Bogotá, Colombia.
Her work has received support from the Mosaic Art Fund at the Coral Gables Community Foundation and has been presented in museums, public art programs, and immersive media venues across the Americas and Europe. Her works are held in the collections of the Jacobo Borges Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Zulia, and the Banco Mercantil Graphic Collection in Venezuela, and private collections in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
